Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be working with our fantastic client who are looking to add an experienced Chef De Partie to their team.
 
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our clients dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant’s high standards. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver a seamless dining experience.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section (e.g., meat, fish, pastry, or vegetable).
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff within your section, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new dishes and contribute to menu planning.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food hygiene, preparation, and cooking techniques.
  • Stock Management: Assist with stock control, ensuring accurate ordering, rotation, and minimisation of waste.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the kitchen complies with food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver consistent quality during service, ensuring dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-end kitchen environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients, with the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Creativity: Passion for food and a creative flair, with the ability to contribute to innovative menu ideas.
  • Qualifications: Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Hygiene Standards: Understanding of food hygiene, health, and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, COSHH).
