Job Title: Private Chef (freelance/Partita IVA holder)
Location: Breda, Milan, ITA
Salary: 300+ EUR per day
Start date: ASAP (by Thursday 26th September 2024)
 
We are supporting our client in Milan in their search for a Private Chef, with a salary on offer of 300+ EUR per day. Candidates for this role will have a health-conscious focus on their work and be comfortable in sourcing ingredients for the Principal’s meals.
 
The family is in Milan for about 6 months per year (non-consecutive) and The Chef will need to be available for the dates required, therefore the Chef will know 6 months in advance when is needed so can take on other positions if he/she wishes.
 
Working hours, when the family is in the residence, will be 11 am to 10 pm.
 
This position is ideal for a Chef who can invoice the client for the days worked.
 
Main responsibilities:

• Approve a weekly menu with the Principals and prepare healthy meals and snacks for the house
• Source the relevant ingredients from local vendors and ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked at all times
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines (someone will always support with service and cleaning)
• Collaborate with other household staff to coordinate meal schedules and special events
• Accommodate any dietary restrictions or preferences of the Principal (no pork, no alcohol)
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a Private Chef in UHNW households
• Knowledge of nutrition and experience in creating balanced and healthy meals
• Fluent in both Italian and English
• Italian-style cooking is essential, with some knowledge of East Asia cuisine
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Flexibility to work 6 days a week when the Principal is in residence
• Italian passport holders
• This position is Live-out, so the Chef must be based in Milan or any way at a commutable distance
