Title: Domestic Couple
Working Schedule: Full-time, Live-in or Live-out
Salary: $200,000 per annum (based on experience)

A wonderful New York family is seeking an experienced Full-Time Domestic Couple to oversee the day-to-day management and care of their Southampton home. The ideal candidates will have prior experience working with HNW/UHNW families and maintaining a formal household or luxury yacht. The couple must demonstrate exceptional skills in household management, cleaning, laundry, and meal service. The family is looking for a couple who works well independently, is pet-friendly (the family has 3 dogs), and can ensure the smooth running of the household. Flexibility with schedules and a willingness to travel are essential, as is the ability to maintain professional boundaries while being attentive and proactive in anticipating the family’s needs. The principals value long-term relationships and are seeking a couple looking to stay with them for many years.
 
Duties:

• Manage vendors and oversee daily household operations.
• Supervise staff in residence, including managing schedules and tasks.
• Coordinate family activities such as massage, tennis, and other leisure pursuits.
• Clean and maintain furniture, fine antiques, and vintage pieces, ensuring the home is always neat and orderly.
• Handle laundry, ironing, and steaming of clothing and fine linens, including bed sheets, and maintaining shoes.
• Grocery shopping, running errands, and stocking cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Manage and schedule all preventive maintenance services for the home.
• Provide attentive care and service to guests when they are present in the home, including offering beverages and ensuring comfort.
• Serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including setting tables and arranging floral designs.
• Oversee automobile maintenance and drive the family and guests to local airports, restaurants, and other destinations as needed.
• Provide pet care for the family’s three dogs.
• Organize and maintain pantries and closets.

Ideal Candidates:

• Available at all times to assist when the family is in residence.
• Flexible, and able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
• Must have prior formal household experience, including experience with event and entertainment settings.
• Honest, discreet, and highly trustworthy with a strong sense of integrity.
• Service-oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Must be able to handle a physically demanding job that includes stairs and significant walking
• Proactive, efficient, and highly organized, able to anticipate the family’s needs.
• Willing to travel with the family to their other homes in New York for events and coverage.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary based on experience, approximately $200,000.
• Health insurance is provided.
• 4 weeks of vacation.
