A high-net-worth family in Dubai is seeking a dedicated, professional House Manager to oversee and maintain the seamless operation of their residence. With two teenage children living in Dubai and one based in the UK, the family travels frequently, requiring a reliable and experienced individual to manage the household independently in their absence.
 
This is a full-time position for someone comfortable working in a large household with various staff members, including a chef, nannies, a maintenance man, and drivers. The household also includes 8 dogs, so candidates must be dog-friendly.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the property is well-maintained and organised, managing daily operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order.
• Oversee household staff (chef, nannies, maintenance, and drivers), manage schedules, and provide support to ensure smooth operations.
• Organise and manage events, gatherings, and family functions as requested, including overseeing setup, coordination, and guest service.
• Liaise with family members and staff to ensure alignment on family schedules, travel plans, and special requests.
• Step in as needed to provide table service or assist in various household tasks.
• Ensure the care and well-being of household dogs, coordinating with staff as needed.
• Use the family car to run errands, manage household inventory, and ensure necessary supplies are stocked.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years as a House Manager or in a similar role with high-net-worth clients; experience in managing large households and supervising staff.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking abilities; ability to manage a busy household and coordinate multiple schedules.
• Driver’s License: Preferred but not essential.
• Must be comfortable around dogs and willing to assist with their care.
• Comfortable with a demanding schedule (6 days per week, 12-hour days, starting at 9 am).
• Ability to plan, organise, and host family events with professionalism and attention to detail.
