Position: Travelling Housekeeper
Location: Dubai, UAE (with frequent travel to Europe and the UK)
Salary: AED 4,000 – 6,000 per month
Accommodation: Provided; room sharing may be required depending on availability
Working Hours: 6 days per week, 12 hours per day, starting at 9:00 AM
A high-net-worth family based in Dubai is seeking an experienced, proactive, and flexible Housekeeper to join their household team. This role will involve extensive travel alongside the family, particularly to Europe and the UK, and will require excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a keen understanding of the family’s preferences. All visas required to travel to the UK and Europe will be provided for by the family.
You will be working as part of a large team (including nannies, chefs, Butlers and a House Manager) providing support to a family of 5 (although one child lives in the UK). The family also has 8 dogs so candidates must be dog friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-standard cleaning and laundry services, including garment care, ironing, and wardrobe organisation.
- Manage and organise family belongings for travel, ensuring items are prepared as per the family’s specifications.
- The household has eight dogs; comfort around animals and willingness to assist with basic pet care is essential.
- Work effectively with the household team, including a chef, nannies, maintenance personnel, and drivers.
- Maintain clear and open communication to understand and meet the family’s preferences.
- Adjust to different environments when travelling and remain flexible to accommodate the family’s dynamic schedule.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in high-end housekeeping with a strong knowledge of cleaning and laundry techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of managing tasks independently.
- Comfortable with a pet-friendly environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work harmoniously with a multicultural household staff and family members.
- Flexibility to travel frequently, with the understanding that work schedules may vary depending on travel plans.
