Role: Restaurant Manager
Location: Carlisle, UK 
Salary: up to £32,000 plus service charge 

Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be working with our fantastic client who are looking to add a experienced Restaurant Manager to their team.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an award-winning restaurant with rooms. We’re looking for someone who will contribute to the daily operations of our clients restaurant and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
 
Role Overview:

  • Oversee all aspects of the restaurant service.
  • Greet and welcome customers, manage table reservations, and collaborate with the reception team.
  • Ensure smooth operations during lunch and dinner services.
  • Address any queries or complaints during service.
  • Deliver impeccable customer service.
  • Manage relationships with beverage suppliers and handle ordering.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu coordination, including wine pairings.
  • Handle end-of-day tasks such as tills and accurate billing.
  • Conduct monthly stock takes and manage stock orders.
  • Maintain booking systems for both the restaurant and rooms, ensuring effective communication and training with the team and kitchen brigade to consistently uphold high standards of hospitality.

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Previous experience in a 3AA Rosette level establishment.
  • Ability to efficiently and accurately handle customer complaints.
  • A team player who enjoys a hands-on role.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with the kitchen and chef.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maximising customer satisfaction.
  • Commitment to maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • WSET Level 3 qualification preferred but not essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 3AA Rosette standard restaurant.
  • Valid driving license and access to your own transport due to the rural location.
  • Eligible to work and reside in the UK.
