Job title: Live-in Housekeeper
Location: Stow-in-the-Wold, Cotswolds
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 (could potentially be negotiable DOE)
Accommodation: A 2-bedroom cottage, separate from the main house, will be provided. Partners and Pets are welcome.
Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work when the Principals are in residence.  8am-4pm or 1pm-9pm on a rota basis.
 
We are assisting a client in the Cotswolds in their search for an experienced Housekeeper for their large country estate. The role will involve working within a housekeeping team and maintaining high standards across the estate.
 
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper who has some senior Housekeeping experience, this is the perfect role for those looking to progress their careers.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of housekeeping, including laundry and ironing, to the highest possible standards.
• Carry out deep and routine cleaning of the main house.
• Work with the Head Housekeeper and collaborate with the housekeeping team, as well as work independently when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and standards of the main house and guest accommodations to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Assist with unpacking and unloading grocery shopping weekly.
• Report any damages or breakages to the House Manager.
• Ensure all bedrooms and internal areas are well-stocked and maintained at all times.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper within a private household or estate.
• Impeccable housekeeping standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the housekeeping team.
