Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be working with our fantastic client who are based in the beautiful Scottish Borders area in their search for Head Bartender to join their team.
 
Role Overview:
The Head Bartender will oversee the daily operations of our clients bar, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable guest experience. Combining creativity with expertise, you will lead the creation of signature cocktails, curate an extensive spirits menu, and foster an engaging atmosphere. This is a hands-on role that requires a passion for mixology, strong leadership, and a dedication to excellence.
 
Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Manage the bar operations, including staffing, inventory, and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a world-class cocktail and spirits menu, showcasing creativity and innovation.
  • Train, mentor, and lead the bar team, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop promotions and events to enhance revenue.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, addressing feedback and creating lasting impressions.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage budgets, and maintain cost controls.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Bartender in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology trends.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for creating unique and memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
