About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel located in Morocco. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve financial growth and operational excellence.
- Foster a positive and productive workplace culture aligned with the hotel’s vision and values.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, spa, and events.
- Ensure compliance with luxury standards and deliver a flawless guest experience.
- Financial Performance:
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures.
- Achieve revenue targets and maintain profitability through innovative sales and marketing strategies.
- Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team committed to delivering exceptional service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement staff development programs.
- Guest Relations:
- Cultivate strong relationships with guests, ensuring their expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Handle high-profile clientele with discretion and professionalism.
- Brand Representation:
- Act as the face of the hotel, promoting its image within the luxury travel industry.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, travel partners, and the community.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong understanding of the luxury hospitality market, with experience in North Africa or similar regions preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in English and French; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- A degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is desirable.
- Must be fluent in French language
