Role: House Manager/Butler
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 5 days per week, 40 hours (including one weekend per month)
 
We are looking for an experienced French-speaking House Manager/Butler for an UHNW family residing in Geneva. This is a full-time, live-out position offering a salary of 120,000 CHF gross per annum. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the family’s large property and ensuring its smooth operation.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the upkeep of the property and outbuildings, ensuring all maintenance is carried out to the highest standard.
• Manage household staff, schedules, and day-to-day operations.
• Handle household accounts, order supplies, manage inventory, and coordinate with external contractors and suppliers.
• Provide professional table service and organise receptions, official dinners, and events.
• Manage the family’s schedules, including appointments, meal planning, and travel arrangements.
• Perform chauffeur and courier duties within Switzerland and abroad when required.

 
The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience managing private households or estates.
• A proven track record of success in similar roles.
• Strong organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• A flexible, proactive, and professional approach to work.
• Confident driver with an EU passport.
• Fluent French speaker, with excellent communication skills.
