Role: Sales Manager
Location: South Dublin
Salary: €45,000 plus 10% bonus
We are working with a returning client who is looking to add an experienced Sales Manager to their team. This hotel is a 4* property in a stunning location on the seafront in South Dublin.
In this role, you will develop new business and manage relationships with key accounts to drive revenue for corporate and conference bookings Oversee all sales activities, ensuring resources are utilised effectively to maximise revenue opportunities for the hotel.
Please note that candidates MUST have the right to live and work in Ireland – we do not offer visa sponsorship.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the local corporate and conference market
- Work towards achieving a set weekly target for appointments
- Manage a designated portfolio of accounts, ensuring their development and revenue growth
- Conduct market research to understand transient and group strategies of competitors
- Monitor competitor hotels for rates, benefits, and key account activity
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while networking to secure new business opportunities, both in the UK and overseas
- Track and analyse lost and declined leads for potential future business
- Undertake various sales activities, including but not limited to
- Sales trips and client meetings
- Telesales
- Site inspections
- Corporate hospitality
- Familiarisation trips
- Attendance at trade shows
Ideal Candidate:
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar sales role within a hotel
- Hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
- Be customer-focused and committed to maintaining high standards
- Be self-motivated with strong leadership abilities
- Have experience in setting annual sales budgets
