Salary: £20-£24 per hour (depending on experience)

A high-profile household in the heart of Kensington is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive full-time private housekeeper to take charge of the daily housekeeping and organisation of their elegant 5-6 bedroom residence. This is the family’s main home, and the successful housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining it to a consistently high standard.
 
The role would suit an experienced housekeeper who takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and enjoys working in a quiet, respectful environment. You will be working independently, as there is currently no other full-time housekeeping staff in place.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and ironing
• Ensuring all rooms are kept tidy, presentable, and well-maintained at all times
• Light shopping for household essentials and groceries
• Occasional preparation of teas and coffees (no cooking required)
• Monitoring household supplies and alerting the principal when stock is low
• Liaising with contractors or service providers when needed
• General oversight of the home and flagging any maintenance issues

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a housekeeper in a private household
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with discretion and integrity
• Confident working independently and managing daily housekeeping without supervision
• Pet friendly and happy to be around animals
• Professional, trustworthy, and well-presented
• English fluency required
