They are keen for an enthusiastic, driven, and service-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their exceptional team within their unique plot-to-plate restaurant.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation. Reporting to the Gardens Operations Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and ambitious hospitality professional to grow within a dynamic and expanding business.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support in the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Train, motivate, and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Collaborate with the bar and kitchen teams to creatively translate the “plot-to-plate” ethos into both food and drink menus.
- Demonstrate confidence in wine service, cocktails, and general bar knowledge.
- Ensure allergen awareness and dietary requirements are understood and accommodated.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members alike.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and a high standard of presentation at all times.
- Bring energy, creativity, and genuine passion for food, hospitality, and the guest journey.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory or assistant manager role.
- A natural leader with a flair for hospitality and team development.
- Sound knowledge of food, wine, and beverages.
- Passionate about sustainability, local produce, and seasonal dining.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic restaurant setting.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
