A dynamic UHNW family based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced and proactive Nanny to care for their two prep-school-aged children. This is an exciting opportunity to join a warm, busy household where the principal is hands-on and values a collaborative, respectful working relationship.

Job Description
This role is either live-in or live-out, offering flexibility and a private London flat for the successful candidate. The nanny will work closely with the parents, stepping in and out as needed, and should be comfortable balancing nurturing care with gentle discipline and structure.
The role is based at the family’s primary residence in Chelsea, a fully staffed household with a collaborative and professional environment. The nanny will work Monday to Friday from 06:45 to 20:00, with a two-hour break during the day, and will be required to provide overnight babysitting twice per week as part of the schedule.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, engaging care for two children of prep-school age
- Coordinate and supervise school runs, playdates, extracurricular activities, and appointments
- Plan creative, educational, and outdoor activities tailored to the children’s interests
- Act as a governess, supporting the children’s academic development and school admin
- Maintain tidy play and living spaces (wardrobe/playroom organisation – no laundry)
- Plan and manage holiday clubs, educational activities, and packing for travel
- Monitor and replenish supplies for the children, liaise with schools and the wider household team
- Manage children’s calendar, gifts, and party planning
- Liaise with the chef on meal preferences (no allergies), ensure nutritious meals
- Monitor school apps and household emails, flagging and actioning as necessary
- Read with the children and keep on top of new book releases
- Support the children’s emotional well-being through patience, empathy, and appropriate boundaries
- Travel with the family as required
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience working within UHNW households is essential
- Proven longevity and dedication in previous nanny roles
- Strong academic background (A Levels or higher) with an interest in early education
- Experience in a teaching or governess-style role is highly desirable
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication
- Creative, organised, and self-motivated
- Team player who thrives in fully staffed households
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to balance warmth and discipline
- Computer literate, comfortable managing digital schedules and school portals
- Confident planning of educational and developmental activities for school holidays
