One of the UK’s premier Golf Courses, based in Stockton on Tees requires an experienced hospitality professional for the position of Food and Beverage Manager for the Restaurant & Bar.

Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure guests are satisfied, all staff work as an effective team and the business runs smoothly, exceeding all targets set
- Work closely and liaise with the Head Chef to ensure that both departments are working together and have regular meetings to discuss upcoming events
- Organise and motivate staff to always deliver their best and encourage them to be customer focused at all times
- To take on board administrative duties alongside the manager, these duties may include overseeing ordering, stock control, liaising with suppliers, staff placements, rotas,and customer complaints
- Attention to detail is required to ensure that all events are set up as required
- Appraise staff and provide any necessary training required to ensure that staff are working effectively and efficiently
- Manage functions, which would include weddings, golf days and other events
- To be a customer contact to gain maximum customer satisfaction
- Responsible for health and safety of customers and staff
- Promote upcoming offers and generate ideas to boost bar sales whilst maintaining required margins
- Be fully conversant with licensing laws and the upholding of them
- Full knowledge of menus, wines and drinks that are available
- Maintain knowledge of facilities and services on offer to guests
Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent customer skills, welcoming and friendly
- Comfortable with dealing with all guests
- Tact and diplomacy for dealing with difficult situations
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Supervisory skills
- IT Literate
- Flexible and adaptable
