We are seeking a professional and highly organised Butler to support the existing House Manager/Butler in delivering exceptional standards across a prestigious private household. The successful candidate will play a key role in front-of-house service, valeting, travel support, and general household operations, ensuring seamless service when the principals are in residence.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Formal table service and guest greeting
• Wine and drinks service
• Wardrobe and shoe care (male principal)
• Packing/unpacking and dry cleaning errands
• Inventory and silverware upkeep
• Event support and supervision of temp staff
• Household admin and errands
• Support at UK and overseas residences

Requirements

• Flexible with working hours; weekends required when principals are in residence
• Time off in lieu given during the week according to a rota
• Strong attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism
• Experience in private households or similar environments preferred

• Proven experience in a similar role within private households
• Strong attention to detail, with a polished and professional presentation
• Flexible with working hours – weekends required when principals are in residence
• Discreet, trustworthy, and service-focused
• Strong team player with the ability to take initiative
• Confident with travel and adapting to changing environments
• Comfortable supporting household events and guest service
• Able to follow structured rotas; time off given during the week in lieu of weekends worked
