Overview and Opportunity:
 
A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join the commercial team at a prestigious five-star resort resort in Scotland, near Dundee. 
 
This luxury destination is known for its exceptional guest experience, with premium golf courses, spa facilities, and award-winning dining options. As Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead and implement the property’s digital strategy, overseeing everything from website optimisation and email campaigns to paid ads and social media engagement.

Job Description:
 
In this key role, you will manage the resort’s full digital and e-commerce strategy, working closely with internal teams across spa, golf, and F&B to ensure cohesive and compelling campaigns. From content creation and campaign planning to performance analysis and revenue generation, you’ll be the digital lead for all departments.
 
Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual digital marketing and e-commerce plan across all business areas
  • Manage the digital budget and allocate resources to maximise ROI
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align messaging, campaigns, and priorities
  • Lead quarterly and annual strategy development for web, e-commerce, and digital channelsCreate and manage email marketing campaigns, paid media, display and programmatic advertising
  • Ensure up-to-date, SEO-optimised content across all digital platforms
  • Optimise performance on OTAs and other online booking channels
  • Analyse data and report on the performance of all digital marketing efforts against set KPIs
  • Maintain a strong presence across relevant social media platforms
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends and adapt strategies accordingly

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within hospitality, travel, or lifestyle sectors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of modern digital marketing strategies and performance metrics
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, PPC, email marketing, and paid social
  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, CMS, and CRM systems
  • Highly organised with a strategic mindset and creative flair
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment
