Overview and Opportunity 
 
An UHNW private household is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join its team on a full-time basis. Weekend working is an essential part of the role, and candidates must be happy to commit to this arrangement.
 
Job Description 
 
The successful candidate will have excellent housekeeping standards, strong organisational skills and experience caring for high-quality clothing, fabrics and household interiors.
 
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a home to an exceptional standard, is proactive and reliable, and works well as part of a wider household team.
 
A genuine love of cats is also essential.
 
Role Responsibilities 

• Maintaining the residence to an exceptional standard
• Daily cleaning and general household upkeep
• Laundry, ironing and specialist garment care
• Organising wardrobes, clothing and personal belongings
• Caring for delicate fabrics and high-quality furnishings
• Keeping the home tidy, organised and beautifully presented
• Following garment care instructions and ensuring clothing is properly maintained
• Supporting the wider household team as required
• Assisting with basic cat care where needed

Candidate Requirements 

• Previous experience in a private household or high-end housekeeping environment
• Excellent attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
• Strong knowledge of laundry, ironing and clothing care
• Experience organising wardrobes and clothing collections
• A genuine love of cats and confidence around animals
• A proactive, reliable and organised approach
• Discretion and an understanding of working in a private household
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends as part of a full-time schedule
