We are working with an UHNW family in their search for a live-out Housekeeper to join their team in St John’s Wood.
 
Job Description 
 
The home is elegant, modern and impeccably maintained, with high-end finishes, delicate fabrics, fine furnishings and valuable artwork. Previous experience working in luxury private homes and caring for high-quality interiors is essential.
 
You will be joining an established team including housekeepers, a House Manager, dog nanny, chef and security.
 
Role Responsibilities 

• Maintaining the residence to an exceptional standard
• Daily cleaning and general household upkeep
• Laundry and ironing
• Wardrobe and household organisation
• Light food and beverage service
• Preparing refreshments and assisting with ad hoc requests
• Ensuring the home is always beautifully presented
• Basic food preparation
• Reheating and serving meals when the Chef is off duty
• Supporting the wider household team as required
• Feeding and walking the Principal’s three dogs as part of Sunday duties
• Assisting with additional dog care when the Principal is travelling, including occasional overnight stays on a shared rota

Candidate Requirements 

• Experienced working in a high-end private residence
• Confident caring for luxury finishes, delicate fabrics, fine furnishings and artwork
• Hands-on, proactive and highly detail-oriented
• Well presented, reliable and professional
• A genuine team player who is happy to support the wider household
• Comfortable with light food preparation and meal service
• A genuine dog lover, with confidence caring for multiple dogs
• Flexible and willing to assist with occasional overnight dog care when required

Working Hours

• The role offers a 45-hour working week, with the household able to accommodate one of the following patterns:
• Wednesday-Sunday
• Thursday-Monday
• Sunday-Thursday
• Shifts will start at either 7:00am or 10:30am, with no shifts starting before 7:00am or finishing after 7:30pm.
