Salary: £20-25 per hour
Work Schedule: 32 hours per week, 4 weekdays, 9am-4pm, plus Saturday 12pm-4pm
Accommodation: Live-out

A professional and welcoming private family based in Primrose Hill is seeking an experienced and friendly Temporary Housekeeper to maintain their four-floor residence to a consistently high standard.
 
Job Description 
 
The successful candidate will take pride in creating and maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming home, with responsibility for daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care and general household organisation.
 
The family has a relaxed approach to household life and there are two primary school-aged children in the home, so the successful candidate should be comfortable working around children and happy to support the wider household team where required.
 
Role Responsibilities 

• Daily cleaning, tidying and organisation throughout the four-floor residence.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home.
• Careful cleaning and maintenance of fine furnishings, surfaces and delicate materials.
• Managing laundry, including washing, ironing and appropriate care of clothing and linens.
• Supporting with wardrobe organisation and ensuring clothing is well maintained and readily available.
• Managing household inventories and ensuring supplies are well stocked.
• Using appropriate cleaning products and techniques for high-end surfaces and materials.
• Supporting other household staff with their duties when required.
• Running occasional errands for the family.
• Working comfortably around the family’s two children.
• Maintaining complete discretion and confidentiality regarding the family and their guests.

Candidate Requirements 

• At least 5 years’ professional housekeeping experience, ideally within a private household or luxury hotel.
• Excellent attention to detail and genuine pride in their work.
• Experience caring for high-end homes, furnishings and delicate materials.
• Strong knowledge of professional cleaning products and techniques.
• Excellent laundry and ironing skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage daily responsibilities independently.
• A friendly, positive and flexible approach.
• Confidence working within a busy family home and around children.
• The ability to work well as part of a wider household team.
• A discreet and highly professional approach.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Strong, verifiable references.
