Live-in Butler

We are supporting our UHNW client in their search for a live-in Butler for their property in the South of France, with a salary on offer of €4,000-€5,000 per month.
 
Candidates for this role must be able to demonstrate strong butler experience and should have presence when it comes to entertaining and greeting guests. 
 
Silver service is a must in this role and attention to detail is absolutely essential, and, as with all good Butlers, should have a positive and welcoming attitude but understand when the time is right for discretion.
 
Travelling with the Principal will be required for the role.
 
Main responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality Butler services, including formal table setting, serving meals, and managing events
• Greet and attend to guests, ensuring they feel welcome at the property and their needs are catered for 
• Have the ability to think quickly and solve problems for the clients, as well as any household staff and guests
• Organise travel itinerary for the Principals, including luggage, hotel and restaurant bookings, as well as some driving (with confidence in driving high-performance cars)
• Liaise with Chefs for food travel requirements
• Carry out daily errands, such as shopping and any ad hoc household tasks

The ideal candidate:

• A minimum of 5+ years experience as a Butler within an UHNW household, preferably with travelling
• A confident personality who understands discretion
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and have confidence in driving high-performance vehicles
• Willing to travel with the Principal when required
• Fluent in English
• Right to work in France, or the EU
