Role: Sales & Events Executive
Location: Co Kerry, Ireland
Salary: €35,000 – €40,000
We are working with a stunning 5* hotel in Co Kerry, Ireland. Set in a beautiful bay, this hotel is situated close to the Ring of Kerry, the Beara Peninsula, and the southwestern edge of the Wild Atlantic Way.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales & Events Executive to join the team. You will be reporting to, and collaborating with the Director of Sales & Marketing Events Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Identify & qualify new leads and opportunities for the hotel and the golf
course by arranging meetings, presentations and site visits to showcase the
facilities. - Undertake proactive sales calls/activities via email, in person or online with
clients as outlined and planned within the Sales & Marketing Plan. - Promote and generate new business for transient, group, meetings &
wedding segments. - Represent the hotel at networking/industry events when required.
- Manage and cohost client events in conjunction with sales team
- Database management with focus on growing & segmenting contacts for
better communication. - Provide regular reports on sales activities and revenue generated.
- Prepare and present customized event proposals and quotations
- Ensure all client requirements are met and accurately documented.
- Collaborate with the hotel’s event and operational teams to ensure seamless
event planning and execution. - To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health
- Safety, fire, hygiene, licensing and employment.

- The ability to work on your own initiative and to face new situations with enthusiasm.
