Job Title: Rota Housekeeper/Nanny
Location: Fisher Island, Miami, FL + Travel (up to 60% of the year)
Rotation: 12 hours a day, 1 week on/off OR 3.5 days per week (second option only available when in Miami, FL)
Salary: $120,000 per annum + annual performance bonuses
Start Date: ASAP
We are working with a UHNW family, based in Fisher Island, Miami to find an experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household. With a family of six (a 5.5-year-old, a 3.5-year-old, and twin girls of 9 months), our client’s residence demands the highest standard of care and attention to detail. This is a unique opportunity to work in an exclusive environment where your skills will be appreciated and valued.
During the day, the ideal candidate will assist with Housekeeping, whilst at the weekend the main focus will be the Childcare support. Between Monday and Friday school drop off and pick up is also necessary, as well as taking the dog out (the dog park is at the front of the house – the family employs a dog walker).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other members of staff (a Maternity Nurse, a Housekeeper, and a Chef)
- Execute daily household cleaning duties according to the provided rota/schedule, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the property.
- Childcare duties at the weekend and drop-offs and pick-ups to and from school during the week for the eldest children (they are in school M-F from 9 am to 4 pm).
- Manage laundry and ironing tasks efficiently.
- Handle wardrobe management, including the care of luxury items, couture, and high-end materials.
- Maintain and care for high-end dining sets, tableware, delicate cutlery, crystals, and silverware.
- Experience in taking care of children of a similar age group (babies as well).
- No cooking is needed as the Chef prepares meals for the whole family and staff members as well.
Requirements:
- Flexibility and adaptability in approach to work.
- Happy to travel up to 60% of the year and be comfortable on boats (the family owns a yacht).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Previous experience working in household roles for UHNW Families.
- Clear understanding of the expectations and operations within high-profile households.
- Proficient in English, it is appreciated if the candidate is a Fluent Spanish speaker.
- Happy to work around dogs (the family owns a medium size dog).
- Right to work in the USA.
Candidates are required to be already based in Miami, FL.
