Job Title: Norland Nanny
Location: New York, NY (with international travel)
Working days and hours: Full-time hours are required – the family has yet to decide how to make the schedule work. Rota could also be an option.
Compensation: $120,000+ per annum + full benefits
A warm and welcoming UHNW family in New York is seeking an experienced, professional, and qualified Norland Nanny to care for their twin boys, who are under three years old. The family is considering both full-time and rota schedule options and is looking for a candidate who brings dedication, energy, and a passion for childcare to this exciting role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional, nurturing care tailored to the developmental stages of the children.
- Create engaging and age-appropriate activities that foster the children’s growth, education, and well-being.
- Manage daily routines, including meal preparation, feeding, bathing, and bedtime.
- Coordinate and oversee the boys’ schedules, including playdates, outings, and educational activities.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and stimulating environment in all areas of the children’s lives.
- Travel internationally with the family as needed, adapting seamlessly to new environments and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with the parents, providing regular updates on the children’s progress and daily activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Norland Nanny with a proven track record of working with young children, particularly twins or multiple children of similar age.
- A genuine love for childcare and a nurturing, engaging approach.
- Flexibility to work either a full-time schedule or in a rota system, as preferred by the family.
- Willingness to travel internationally, sometimes on short notice.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks seamlessly.
- Discretion, professionalism, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
