Position: Rota Nanny
Location: Green Park, London
Salary: £90,000 gross per annum
Working Schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (working in rotation with another nanny)

The family is seeking an experienced and professional Rota Nanny to provide exceptional care and guidance to their school-aged child. The ideal candidate will ensure the child’s emotional, educational, and personal growth, working collaboratively with the other nanny to deliver consistent care. The role involves international travel and requires discretion, flexibility, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a structured daily schedule tailored to the child’s academic, recreational, and developmental needs.
- Support the child’s educational progress, including assistance with homework, projects, and school preparation.
- Plan and engage in stimulating and educational activities, outdoor play, and physical sports to encourage a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
- Promote the child’s social skills and personal development, fostering independence, confidence, and creativity.
- Oversee morning, mealtime, and bedtime routines, ensuring consistency and structure.
- Manage the child’s wardrobe, toys, and educational materials, ensuring everything is organised, age-appropriate, and in good condition.
- Prepare for and guide the child through examinations, school applications, and extracurricular commitments.
- Accompany the family during travel, planning and organising suitable cultural and recreational activities at destinations.
- Assist with packing and unpacking, maintaining the child’s belongings, and preparing for special occasions.
- Collaborate with household staff, including the Rota nanny, drivers, and security personnel, to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide basic meal preparation for the child when required and liaise with kitchen staff to meet dietary preferences.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, adhering to strict confidentiality policies.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills when liaising with the household staff and external contacts, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient operations.
- Assist with PA-related duties, including managing the child’s schedule, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
Ideal candidate
- Proven experience as a nanny in UHNW private households, ideally in a rota position.
- Strong educational background with the ability to support school-aged learning.
- First Aid certification and extensive knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently with household staff and external contacts.
- Strong PA skills, including excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Flexibility to travel internationally and adapt to a dynamic schedule.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate discretion at all times.
