Position: Temporary Butler
Location: Central London
Duration: 8 – 12 weeks Temporary Contract
Start: 20th January
Salary: £29 per hour
Shift Pattern: 8-10 hour shifts (24-hour coverage)
 
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Temporary Butlers to join the prestigious household of a High Net Worth Family. In this temporary role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of service, security, and privacy expected in this HNW residence.
 
Your responsibilities will encompass welcoming and serving guests, managing the estate’s amenities, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations during the family’s visit to London.
 
The ideal candidate will have yachting experience and/or experience working with Middle Eastern families.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome and assist guests of the principal, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained throughout their visit
  • Oversee the guest experience to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Maintain the security and privacy of the property and principal at all times
  • Hold accountability for all visitors, ensuring adherence to the property’s privacy policy.
  • Take requests for food and drink, coordinating with kitchen staff and the travelling entourage
  • Ensure seamless communication to fulfil dietary preferences and requirements.
  • Restock and maintain the neat presentation of all amenities throughout the property
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure an ample supply for the principal and employees.
  • Provide support to other on-site teams as needed
  • Supervise the work of contractors, service providers, and non-household employees to ensure adherence to high standards.
  • Report any issues promptly 
  • Uphold health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-net-worth household or as a crew member on a superyacht.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and discreetly.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work day shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • Candiates must be based within a reasonable commutable distance due to evening shifts.
