We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef with expertise in Asian Cuisine to join our clients team at a luxury 5-star resort in Morocco. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary excellence and a proven track record of leadership in upscale establishments. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative Asian cuisine menus that align with the luxury resort’s standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all Asian dishes.
- Develop seasonal and special event menus that showcase creativity and authenticity.
- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Monitor food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain consistency.
- Oversee inventory, procurement, and kitchen supplies to meet operational needs while minimising waste.
- Manage budgets and control food costs to achieve financial objectives.
- Analyse revenue and cost reports to optimise profitability.
- Negotiate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the culinary team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and maintain service excellence.
- Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment to promote teamwork.
- Engage with guests to receive feedback and adapt menus to exceed expectations.
- Ensure every dining experience is memorable and aligns with the resort’s luxurious brand.
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 5+ years as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role specialising in Asian cuisine, ideally within luxury resorts or premium establishments.
- Exceptional skills in creating authentic and fusion Asian dishes, with an emphasis on quality and innovation.
- Strong team management, training, and leadership abilities, with experience supervising diverse teams.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, controlling food costs, and optimising operations.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
