Job Title: Travelling Nanny/Governess [Temporary (ASAP until July 2025) or Permanent]
Location: Chelsea, London
Salary: £25-£30 per hour, with additional rates for travel 
Working days and hours: Tuesdays and Weekends (40 hours per week are guaranteed – any extra will be paid separately)
 
A Chelsea-based returning client is seeking an adventurous, experienced, and engaging Nanny to join their household and support with their 5 years old children, a boy and a girl. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on new experiences, has a teaching background, and brings happy, energetic vibes to their work.
You’ll provide top-notch childcare and educational support for the family’s children mainly in their Chelsea home and while traveling internationally. The role includes travel to exciting destinations such as the US, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide childcare and educational support in line with the children’s needs.
• Foster a fun, positive, and stimulating environment at home and abroad.
• Plan and oversee age-appropriate activities, both educational and recreational.
• Assist with travel logistics, packing, and maintaining routines during trips.
• Drive the children when required (must have a valid driver’s license).
• Demonstrate adaptability and a “read-the-room” approach to family dynamics.

Requirements:

• Lives locally within a 45-minute commute from Chelsea.
• Valid driver’s license and confident driving ability.
• Teaching background or relevant childcare qualifications preferred.
• Strong ability to adapt to changing needs.
• Open to frequent international travel and flexible with scheduling.
• Must be available for a minimum 5-day trial period (2 school days plus Friday-Sunday overnight).
• The Nanny must be able to invoice the family weekly/monthly.
