Job Title: Live-In/Live-Out Nanny Housekeeper for HNW Family
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Accommodation: 1-2 bedroom cottage separate from the main house (partners and well-behaved pets welcome)
Working Hours: Predominantly Monday-Friday, 07:30-19:30, with flexibility on weekends. Up to 6 weeks travel annually with the family.
 
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Nanny Housekeeper to join a HNW family of five. The role involves caring for three children aged 6, 3, and 2, alongside shared care with a hands-on mother, while also maintaining high housekeeping standards. The family values someone who is proactive, organised, and capable of balancing childcare and household management effectively.
 
Key Responsibilities
Childcare Duties:

• Full nursery duties, including meal preparation and overseeing routines.
• School drop-offs and pick-ups.
• Assisting with schoolwork and developmental activities.
• Encouraging early learning, particularly dictation and speech development for the youngest child.
• Organising outdoor and sports activities to support the children’s hobbies and interests.

Housekeeping Duties:

• Daily housekeeping, ensuring the home is well-maintained and organised.
• Laundry and ironing, including managing the children’s clothes and household linens.
• Batch cooking nutritious meals for the family.
• Cleaning and tidying of communal areas and the children’s bedrooms.
• Managing household supplies and liaising with other staff when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as both a nanny and housekeeper in a similar setting (minimum 5 years preferred).
• Confident driver with a clean license (must be comfortable driving the children).
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Well-spoken, presentable, and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team of three other household staff.
• Flexible and proactive approach to duties.
• Pet-friendly, as the family has a spaniel.

• The family home is a 10-bedroom, three-storey property.
• The position offers private accommodation in a separate 1-2 bedroom cottage.
• Must be willing to travel with the family for up to six weeks per year.
