Role: Temporary Housekeeper in New York City

Salary: Starting at $30/hour, based on experience

Job Description:

A warm, loving family in New York City is seeking a dedicated, kind, and proactive temporary housekeeper to support them during a very exciting and busy time – a new baby is arriving in the next two weeks! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in creating a calm, clean, and nurturing environment.
We’re looking for someone who can jump in and take initiative, with a flexible schedule to support the family as much as possible over the next couple of months. This role is best suited to someone who is experienced, trustworthy, and can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
 
Responsibilities:

• Daily housekeeping: general tidying, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes
• Deep cleaning of kitchen and bathrooms as needed
• Changing linens, making beds, keeping household areas organized
• Occasional errands (grocery pick-ups, pharmacy runs, etc.)
• Helping to prepare the home for the arrival of the baby
• Maintaining a peaceful and orderly environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Has prior housekeeping experience (private home preferred)
• Is highly reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Brings a positive, can-do attitude
• Comfortable working around a new mom and children
• Flexible and willing to work longer hours if needed
• Fully authorized to work in the U.S.
• References available upon request
