Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Assistant
Location: Barnet, Hertfordshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year (based on experience)
 
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Person to join our in-house team. You will carry out a range of repairs and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties, as well as assist in routine refurbishment projects. A positive attitude, team spirit, and good interpersonal skills are essential.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Undertake high-quality remedial works across a variety of trades including:
  • Basic plumbing and bathroom fitting
  • General carpentry and kitchen fitting
  • Tiling, plastering, decorating, and roofing repairs
  • Minor electrical tasks (e.g., socket replacement)
  • Patio laying, pointing, and minor brickwork repairs
  • Tape & jointing / Tacking
• Maintain a professional and tidy appearance; wear company uniform at all times
• Provide excellent customer service while working in tenants’ homes or businesses
• Adhere to best practices in health and safety at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance or multi-trade role (essential)
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards
• Able to maintain confidentiality and a professional approach at all times
