Role: Chef de Partie
Location: County Durham, UK
Salary: £30,000 circa + tips
Work Schedule: Full Time, Permanent, 40 Hours Weekly
Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be partnering with a 5-star luxury resort in County Durham. With a 3 AA Rosette Restaurant, elegant rooms and suites and a Luxury Spa, they are keen for a Chef de Partie to join their team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes in your designated section, in accordance with the 5* hotel standards.
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to plan menus, improve procedures, and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain the highest hygiene and safety standards in compliance with HACCP.
- Supervise and support Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs, providing training and guidance as required.
- Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering supplies, and minimise food waste.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues.
- Contribute to menu development and innovation, reflecting seasonal and local produce.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef in a 4- or 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Culinary diploma or formal chef training preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of modern cooking techniques, plating, and kitchen operations.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
