Overview and Opportunity
  
We are seeking a calm, experienced Travelling Private Chef (male or female) to join a prestigious household based in Gibraltar. This exciting role offers the chance to travel to different locations (5 months in Gibraltar, 4-5 months in Dubai and 2 months in the Bahamas) and to work as part of a close-knit team of culinary professionals, supporting the Principals across several luxury locations. With up to six months of international travel annually, this position provides a dynamic and varied work environment ideal for a flexible team player passionate about delivering exceptional cuisine in private settings.
  
Job Description
  
As a Private Chef, you will play a vital role in creating and delivering high-quality, nutritious, and personalised meals tailored to the Principals’ tastes and dietary requirements. You will collaborate closely with a skilled team of chefs, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest hygiene standards. Your ability to adapt to different locations and maintain exceptional culinary standards during extended travel periods will be essential.
  
Role Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare seasonal menus that reflect the Principals’ preferences and promote health-conscious dining.
• Work harmoniously within a team of chefs to deliver consistent, outstanding culinary experiences.
• Maintain impeccable kitchen cleanliness and organisation, upholding Food Hygiene Level 3 standards.
• Manage ingredient sourcing, inventory, and waste reduction effectively.
• Provide professional, discreet service at all times, adapting seamlessly during travel and special events.
• Assist with event catering and dinner parties as required, showing flexibility in working hours.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Private Chef, ideally with multi-location or luxury household experience.
• Calm, approachable, and professional with a strong team-oriented attitude.
• Qualified to Food Hygiene Level 3 or equivalent, with excellent knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices.
• Well-organised, with a proven ability to keep kitchens tidy and efficient.
• Comfortable travelling internationally for up to six months per year.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport within a private household environment.
