Role: Cook & Housekeeper
Location: Business Bay, Dubai
Salary: 8,000 – 10,000 AED Per Month DOE (with petrol allowance included)
Work Schedule: Full-time, 5/6 days per week (split between cooking and housekeeping duties)
Accommodation: Live-out (must have own accommodation and car)

Overview and Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Cook & Housekeeper to support a busy expat couple in Business Bay. This is a dual-role position where approximately 50% of the role will focus on cooking and the remaining 50% on housekeeping. The candidate will work alongside one other housekeeper in a modern, well-maintained residence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with proven private household experience to join a respectful and well-organised home environment.
 
Job Description
Private Staffing:

• Modern apartment residence located in Business Bay
• Team of 2 housekeepers (including this role)
• Full-time working hours, 6 days per week

Hospitality:

• Cooking for 2 principals on a daily basis
• No entertaining/guest catering required at present, focus is on healthy daily meals
• Property occupied year-round

Role Responsibilities

• Plan, purchase, and prepare fresh, healthy meals using organic ingredients from trusted suppliers
• Package and label meals appropriately, ensuring food safety standards are met
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment at all times
• Manage receipts, cash, and expenses, uploading details for reconciliation
• Undertake housekeeping duties: cleaning, laundry, ironing, and household organisation
• Support with household errands and shopping as needed
• Work collaboratively with the existing housekeeper to maintain high standards

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in private households as a cook/housekeeper
• Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare varied, healthy meals
• Previous housekeeping experience with excellent attention to detail
• Calm, methodical, and highly organised approach
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules
• Must hold a valid UAE driving licence and have own car
• Experience handling cash/card purchases and managing petty cash
• Recognised food hygiene certifications (advantage)
