We are looking for a highly skilled Pastry Chef to work for a VVIP client in the Middle East, based in Saudi Arabia. This is a prestigious position within a luxury palace environment, requiring a professional with extensive experience in creating refined desserts, pastries, and bakery products to the highest international standards.
 
The ideal candidate will have a proven background working in UHNW private households, royal residences, or top-tier international 5-star hotels such as The Bulgari, Rosewood, or Four Seasons. You must demonstrate creativity, precision, and the ability to design menus that reflect both traditional and modern pastry techniques, with the flexibility to cater to a variety of cultural and dietary requirements.
 
Applicants must be discreet, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations. You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, Butlers, and other members of the household team to deliver outstanding daily and event service.
 
Please note that the salary offered for the role will depend on the candidate’s previous earnings, skills, qualifications, and experience. Interviewing now for an ASAP start. Start date is flexible for the right candidate.
 
Duties and responsibilities;

  • Creating and presenting a wide variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and bakery items.
  • Designing bespoke dessert menus tailored to the principal’s preferences and guest requirements.
  • Preparing refined plated desserts for fine dining as well as buffets, receptions, and VIP banquets.
  • Ensuring precision and consistency in presentation and flavour for all pastry items.
  • Maintaining strict hygiene standards and kitchen organisation at all times.
  • Sourcing and managing the highest-quality ingredients for pastries and desserts.
  • Training or guiding junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques if required.
  • Demonstrating discretion, professionalism, and cultural awareness at all times.
  • Contributing creativity and innovation to the household’s overall culinary offering.

To be considered for this role you must;

  • Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef in UHNW residences, luxury hotels, or Michelin-level establishments.
  • Possess exceptional skills in pastry, bakery, and dessert presentation.
  • Have excellent contactable references.
  • Be flexible to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia.
