Job Description
 
We are looking for a Finance & Procurement Manager who will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising all financial and procurement activities for the Chairman’s private organisation. This includes designing and implementing robust financial strategies and controls, managing treasury operations, and leading procurement functions across multiple departments, including HR, Legal, IT, Security, Travel, Logistics, Property, and Asset Management.
The role requires a dynamic finance professional with proven experience in both financial management and procurement, capable of setting up systems from the ground up while ensuring compliance with international standards (IFRS) and regional regulations. A hands-on leader, the Manager will supervise a small dedicated team and deliver clear financial and strategic insights to executive leadership.
 
Responsibilities
 
Financial Management

  • Lead the development and oversight of financial operations and reporting for private office affairs and the family’s property and asset portfolio.
  • Authorise transactions within the financial approval matrix, including cash flow, wire transfers, accounts receivable/payable, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supervise account managers across property management, private office, and international operations.
  • Develop and monitor OPEX and CAPEX budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Prepare financial reports and packages, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic regulations and IFRS.

Procurement Management

  • Design, implement, and oversee domestic and international procurement strategies.
  • Supervise procurement staff and ensure ethical, efficient practices.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, optimising costs and securing favourable terms.
  • Review existing service provider agreements and establish new ones where required.
  • Implement and monitor procurement policies to drive quality and cost-effectiveness.

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Manage liquidity and cash flow to support ongoing operations.
  • Mitigate risks through robust treasury management and expenditure controls.
  • Implement monitoring systems to track and reduce cash spending.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance and procurement team.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Conduct performance reviews and professional development planning.
  • Align team objectives with organisational and family goals.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local laws and international finance/procurement standards.
  • Oversee internal audits and implement recommendations.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, safeguarding family assets.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and other departments on financial and operational needs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in a senior finance/procurement management role (UHNW family office or similar environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of KSA financial regulations, tax laws, and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to establish financial and procurement systems from scratch.
  • Expertise in treasury, cash flow management, and budget planning (OPEX & CAPEX).
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite or similar financial management software (preferred).
  • Nationality-specific requirements:
    • Saudi Nationals: Must speak English fluently and hold SOCPA certification.
    • Other Candidates: Arabic is not required, local certification not needed.
  • Valid driving licence, clean DBS (or equivalent), non-smoker preferred.
