Our client, nestled in the breath-taking Scottish Borders, is a luxury 5-star property which offers an unparalleled guest experience, blending exceptional service with world-class dining. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our client’s team.
Job Description
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service across our client’s F&B outlets, maintaining the highest standards expected from a luxury establishment. You will lead by example, overseeing daily operations, mentoring the team, and delivering an unforgettable dining experience for our client’s guests.
Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the daily operations of the F&B department, ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Lead and motivate the team, providing training and guidance to enhance skills and performance.
- Ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house teams.
- Assist with staff scheduling, stock control, and ordering.
- Uphold hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
- Support senior management in achieving financial and operational goals.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Passion for food, wine, and delivering an outstanding guest experience.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
