Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef De Partie to join our clients culinary team. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a key role in ensuring the consistent quality and presentation of dishes. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintain high standards of hygiene, and contribute to the development of new menu items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
- Assist in the development and planning of menus, including specials.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure that kitchen hygiene standards are maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage and maintain stock levels, ensuring all food is stored correctly and safely.
- Work efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and techniques.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role.
- A passion for food and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Formal culinary training is preferred but not essential.
