Laundry/Wardrobe Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Laundry/Wardrobe Manager to join the team of our UHNW client, in their prestigious Chelsea home, with a salary on offer of £45,000 per year.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the family’s wardrobe and laundry to the highest possible standards, ensuring that all garments and accessories are impeccably cared for and presented. The family takes great pride in their wardrobe and its presentation, so candidates must have exceptional standards.
 
This is a live-out position, working 45 hours per week across 5.5 days with a day off mostly during the week.
 
Main responsibilities:

• Organise and maintain the family’s wardrobe, ensuring all items are properly stored and catalogued
• Conduct wardrobe inventories and arrange for any repairs and alterations 
• Assist with packing and unpacking for travel, ensuring all required items are prepared and in perfect condition
• Manage the daily laundry operations including washing, ironing, steaming and folding
• Handle delicate fabrics and high-value garments with appropriate care and techniques
• Ensure all laundry is returned to wardrobes in pristine condition

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience as a Laundress and/or Wardrobe Manager for UHNW families or in luxury hotel settings
• Extensive knowledge of fabric care, garment construction, and proper laundering techniques
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle and prioritise tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with the team
• Be discreet and professional as the family highly values their confidentiality
