Live-in Houseman

We are searching for a live-in Houseman in Dubai to provide around the clock maintenance and security for our UHNW client’s new home, with a salary on offer of 10,000-15,000 AED per month.
 
In this role, you will live within the property and your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the house. Candidates for this role will also be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring that it is in good working order at all times.
 
When the Principal and his travelling team are not in residency, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of the team and the property.
 
Main responsibilities:

• Ensure the maintenance and upkeep the Principal’s property, managing the security of the property as well as any general maintenance works
• Provide around the clock security for the property, particularly when the Principal is not in residence
• Handle any internal issues within the team and support in management of the property
• Support the team during busier periods with household duties, particularly when the Principal is in residence
• Ensure the daily operations of the property runs smoothly
• Act as a Caretaker when the Principal is not in residence

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Houseman and Handyman within private households or luxury hotel settings
• You must be a friendly, easy going and professional team player 
• Expertise and proven experience in maintenance, and able to handle any issues within the household
• Fluent in English
