Job Title: Live-in Houseman/Driver
Location: Surrey 
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (Negotiable)
Working Hours:  Monday-Friday (40 hours)
 
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Houseman/Driver to join a small team in Surrey for a HNW couple. 
 
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a conscientious attitude, and be able to adapt to a wide range of tasks. The role involves responsibility for various duties related to property maintenance, security, and occasional driving, requiring good coordination with other household staff, such as the Housekeeper, Gardeners, and Game Keeper.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure good access to the house is maintained at all times.
• Oversee and manage the external fabric of the house and outbuildings, including any necessary repairs or upkeep.
• Provide driving services for the household when required, including running errands or assisting with transport as needed
• Assist and collaborate with other team members, such as the Gardeners, Game Keeper, and Housekeeper, to ensure the smooth running of the estate.
• Work with the Housekeeper to ensure 24/7 security coverage for the property, coordinating shifts to guarantee round-the-clock presence and safety.
• Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others while on the premises.
• Cooperate with the family to ensure that all health and safety measures are properly implemented.

Key Requirements:

• Flexibility to adapt to various tasks as required.
• Strong sense of integrity, honesty, and responsibility.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Full clean driving license.
• Willingness to coordinate work with other household staff to ensure continuous security and maintenance coverage.

Accommodation:
A self-contained living space within the main house is provided, with all reasonable energy bills covered. A garage space is also available for one car. Please note that pets are not allowed in this role.
 
Holidays: 28 days paid leave per year, including Bank Holidays. Holiday scheduling will be coordinated with the Housekeeper to ensure 24/7 security coverage of the property.
