Role: Assistant Bar Manager
Location: Scottish Borders, UK
Salary: £27,500-£28,500

We are delighted to be working with our fantastic client who are looking to add a experienced Assistant Bar Manager to their team.
This is a full-time role, focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences at our clients fantastic property

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Ensure a warm welcome and personalised service, creating a luxury experience for each guest.
• Team Leadership: Inspire, train, and lead the bar team, fostering a positive and productive atmosphere.
• Bar Management: Oversee bar activities, service, staff guidance, and cost control, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and atmosphere.
• Staff Recruitment and Development: Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of bar staff.
• Operational Support: Collaborate with the F&B Ops Manager on daily operations, guest recovery, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
• Quality and Compliance: Maintain compliance with HACCP, COSHH, and fire safety procedures, and manage complaints and incidents professionally.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 2+ years in a bar management role, ideally in a luxury hotel setting
• Skills: Strong knowledge of spirits and mixology, high-volume service experience, and efficient table-turning practices
