Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our clients dynamic kitchen team at. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in the preparation, presentation, and delivery of exceptional dishes, ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your assigned section of the kitchen.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Menu Development: Assist in the creation and development of menus, bringing fresh ideas and input to the team.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
- Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels for your section, ensuring waste is minimised and stock rotation is implemented.
- Training and Development: Support junior kitchen staff by providing guidance, training, and mentoring as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes leaving your section are prepared to the highest quality and standard, in line with our brand expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy, high-quality kitchen.
- A passion for food and a desire to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate desirable).
- A positive attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
