Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be working with our amazing client who are looking to add a experienced Pastry Sous Chef to their team.
As a Pastry Chef, you will play a key role in crafting high-quality desserts and pastry items while working closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and producing pastry items using fresh ingredients and modern techniques.
- Ensuring the pastry section operates efficiently and smoothly on a daily basis.
- Maintaining exceptional standards in all food prepared and served.
- Assisting in the preparation of nutritious and well-balanced staff meals.
- Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency in service and product quality.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and food production.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum NVQ Level 1 and CIEH Level 2 qualifications.
- Ideally, one year of experience in a similar Pastry Chef role.
