Job Title: Conference and Banqueting Manager
Location: Co. Leitrim
Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 
 
Our client, a 4* deluxe hotel set on a 350 acre estate, is looking for a C&B Manager to join their team. 
 
Position Overview: The Conference and Banqueting Manager will oversee all aspects of conference and banqueting operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient service delivery. This role involves coordinating events such as weddings, corporate meetings, and private functions, while maintaining the high standards associated with the hotel. 
 
Please note that candidates MUST have the right to live and work in Ireland. We do not offer visa sponsorship. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination: Plan and manage the execution of events, including scheduling, room setup, and service delivery, to ensure seamless operations
• Client Relations: Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, provide guidance on event options, and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
• Team Management: Supervise and train the conference and banqueting team, ensuring staff are well-prepared to deliver high-quality service
• Financial Oversight: Operate the facilities profitably by managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring timely billing and payments
• Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of service and presentation, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to

Ideal candidate:

• Proven experience in conference and banqueting management within a luxury hotel setting
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously

Accommodation can be provided initially, but on a temporary basis. Candidates will ideally be based locally, or happy to relocate.
