Role: Front Office Manager
Location: Co. Leitrim
Salary: €35,000+ DOE
A luxury hotel in County Leitrim is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office Manager to lead and develop the Front Office team. This is an exciting time to join, following a significant renovation and upcoming expansion, including a new spa, leisure centre, and additional accommodation.
Accommodation can be provided initially on a temporary basis, but we are ideally looking for candidates who are already locally based or prepared to relocate.
Please note that candidates MUST have the right to live and work in Ireland. We do not offer visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the efficient operation of the front office team, including Reception, Reservations, Day & Night Porters
- Ensure exceptional guest service, maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere
- Manage booking systems (Visual One & Avvio), update rates, and oversee online reservations
- Monitor daily operations, including arrivals, departures, and events, ensuring smooth coordination
- Implement and maintain SOPs, ensuring staff compliance and ongoing training
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and service improvements effectively
- Support sales initiatives, upselling opportunities, and revenue growth.
- Manage budgets, costs, and labour efficiency
- Ensure accurate financial procedures, cash handling, and security measures
- Uphold health & safety standards, fire procedures, and workplace compliance
- Lead staff training, development, and performance appraisals
