Food and Beverage Director
Salary: €65,000+
Location: Co. Clare, Ireland
The Director of Food & Beverage oversees all F&B operations, ensuring exceptional service and quality across all outlets. This role involves coordinating purchasing, cost controls, staff recruitment and training, and product development to maintain a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.

Reports to: Resort General Manager, Deputy General Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, working closely with chefs, restaurant, and bar managers
- Implement purchasing, stock control, and cost management strategies
- Lead recruitment, training, and development of F&B staff, fostering a motivated team
- Maintain high service standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Monitor and enhance product offerings, menus, and overall guest experience
- Collaborate with senior management on budgeting and cost control
- Ensure operational efficiency, team coordination, and adherence to 5-star service standards
- Manage events, functions, and conferences as needed
- Conduct performance appraisals and implement staff development initiatives
- Drive sustainability efforts, minimizing waste and promoting responsible sourcing
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong leadership and operational management skills
- Experience in a luxury or high-end hospitality environment
- Expertise in cost control, budgeting, and staff development
- Ability to enhance guest experience through innovation and service excellence
