We are seeking an experienced Art Consultant with extensive project management expertise to oversee a diverse portfolio of artistic and cultural initiatives. This role requires coordinating approximately 200 simultaneous projects of varying scales across multiple locations, with a particular focus on Arabian, Persian, and Arabic art forms, including calligraphy. Open to different nationalities worldwide and focusing more on the project management side, this consultancy position offers the flexibility to work remotely with scheduled on-site periods, all travel and accommodation expenses fully covered, competitive compensation commensurate with experience, and the opportunity to shape significant cultural projects with international visibility.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide artistic direction and curatorial oversight for multiple concurrent art installations and exhibitions
• Develop comprehensive project timelines and ensure adherence to established schedules
• Conduct monthly progress reviews with project teams
• Travel regularly to the UAE to collaborate with the art team on-site
• Oversee the authentic recreation of historical environments, including medieval-style architectural elements
• Curate a cohesive artistic vision across diverse projects including immersive installations such as a mini heritage village
• Coordinate with international artists and craftspeople
• Manage artistic budgets and resource allocation
• Ensure cultural and historical authenticity in all artistic elements

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum 5 years experience in museum curation, art direction, or similar roles 
• Proven track record managing large-scale art projects 
• Deep knowledge of Middle Eastern art traditions, particularly Arabian, Persian, and Arabic styles
• Expertise in calligraphy and traditional artistic techniques of the region
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills across diverse cultural contexts
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
• Open to different nationalities worldwide and focusing more on the project management side
