Achieve Hospitality is delighted to be working with our fantastic client, who is based in the beautiful Scottish Borders area, in their search for a bar Supervisor to join their team.
Role Overview
The Bar Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our clients’ bar, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable guest experience. Combining creativity with expertise, you will lead the creation of signature cocktails, curate an extensive spirits menu, and foster an engaging atmosphere. This is a hands-on role that requires a passion for mixology, strong leadership, and a dedication to excellence.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage the bar operations, including staffing, inventory, and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a world-class cocktail and spirits menu, showcasing creativity and innovation.
- Train, mentor, and lead the bar team, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop promotions and events to enhance revenue.
- Provide exceptional guest service, addressing feedback and creating lasting impressions.
- Monitor stock levels, manage budgets, and maintain cost controls.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Bartender in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology trends.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for creating unique and memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
