Achieve Hospitality is delighted to be working with our fantastic client, who is based in the beautiful Scottish Borders area, in their search for a bar Supervisor to join their team.
 
Role Overview

The Bar Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our clients’ bar, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable guest experience. Combining creativity with expertise, you will lead the creation of signature cocktails, curate an extensive spirits menu, and foster an engaging atmosphere. This is a hands-on role that requires a passion for mixology, strong leadership, and a dedication to excellence.
 
Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the bar operations, including staffing, inventory, and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a world-class cocktail and spirits menu, showcasing creativity and innovation.
  • Train, mentor, and lead the bar team, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop promotions and events to enhance revenue.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, addressing feedback and creating lasting impressions.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage budgets, and maintain cost controls.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Bartender in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology trends.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for creating unique and memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
