Overview and Opportunity
The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing the hotel’s annual sales and marketing strategy. This leadership role focuses on revenue growth, guest satisfaction, and fostering long-term customer relationships to achieve business objectives.

Job Description
Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the annual Sales & Marketing Plan.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate, MICE, business groups, airlines, tour operators, and leisure accounts across local, regional, and global markets.
  • Identify and secure new corporate and leisure business, aligning with the hotel’s revenue goals.
  • Lead RFP processes alongside the Cluster Revenue Manager to maximise contract acceptance.
  • Achieve budgeted sales targets across key segments including corporate groups, consortia, conference bookings, tour series, and airline sales.
  • Drive M&E (Meetings & Events) sales with a focus on maximising food and beverage revenue and room hire rates.
  • Support food and beverage sales, particularly within the restaurant and bar.
  • Develop new business through strategic sales initiatives including networking, proactive campaigns, sales missions, and trade shows.
  • Leverage the Hilton International brand and global partnerships to optimise business opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends through competitor SWOT analysis and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, workshops, and sales missions both domestically and internationally.

Marketing & PR

  • Develop and execute marketing plans across digital and offline channels to support revenue growth in rooms, MICE, and F&B outlets.
  • Manage the hotel’s website strategy, including content, SEO, PPC, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee offline marketing and PR campaigns, ensuring maximum exposure and brand positioning.
  • Develop and promote new packages and services to drive positive PR and media coverage.

Candidate Requirements

  • Extensive experience in hotel sales & marketing in a similar leadership role.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor.
